We'll be canoe-caroling Saturday Dec 23rd, 3-5pm in downtown Clarksdale on the Sunflower River, 'round the muddy banks, and through the alligator weed! Bonfire sing-a-long in celebration of our 25th Anniversary to follow at 6pm (Behind Quapaw Canoe Company).
Winter Solstice Community Canoe, Saturday Dec 23rd From behind Quapaw Canoe Company in downtown Clarksdale ~ 3-5pm. Forecast: partly sunny, low 50, high in the 60s. Advance reservations required. See below for payment method. Questions? Respond to this email. On Sat Dec 23rd, meet at 3pm at our base in downtown Clarksdale, Quapaw Canoe Company, 291 Sunflower Avenue. Round-trip paddle. Pack your own snacks and water. Dress for weather. Wear shoes that can get muddy & wet. No previous experience necessary, all paddle together in our big canoes with guides. But must be willing to paddle — sometimes hard paddling necessary. Return to land around 5pm. Reviving the tradition of Christmas Trees along the Sunflower River! Partnership with the City of Clarksdale.
